Camtasia studio is a wonderful screen casting software. It is very easy to use and produce very high quality videos of the screen. The video file such produced in AVI format by default can be later on edited and adjusted as per requirement. Usually, it records the sound also, which surround the external or internal mic but you can suppress those sounds, decrease the volume or completely mute it. You can add your own media sounds. By default it allows you to add sound effects in three tracks. Clipping, adding titles etc can be easily done and video can be produced specifically for Youtube, I-Pod, computer playback etc. A free download is for 30 days trial.
